As Sipcam Agro USA’s market presence and order volumes grew, so did the need to uphold its customer-centric approach. Manual quoting, billing, and freight management systems could no longer keep pace with the business’s rapid expansion and evolving customer expectations.

This led to SipCam Agro USA partnering with Revcon Logistics to transform its transportation operations by introducing a centralized TMS, freight audit and pay automation, and real-time visibility across shipments. The result: simplified workflows, measurable cost savings, improved real-time shipping information for customers, and reclaimed time for the customer service team to focus on what matters most, the customer.

The Challenge

Before partnering with Revcon, Sipcam’s logistics operations were highly manual and fragmented with:

  • Over 13 freight brokers managed via email threads and spreadsheets

  • Shipments were coordinated primarily through email, with no transportation management system (TMS) or centralized visibility

  • LTL shipments handled through a FedEx portal; FTL and bulk shipments quoted manually

  • No audit or invoice review process as AP received and paid individual invoices without verification

  • Quotes were manually compared for each shipment, adding hours of administrative work

  • No visibility system for tracking shipments in real time

  • Laborious claims process

The result was heavy administrative burden, delayed issue detection, and inconsistent billing.  Customer service reps spent hours manually quoting loads and chasing updates, while accounting had to reconcile several unverified invoices each month.

The Solution

Sipcam partnered with Revcon Logistics to streamline transportation management, improve visibility, and create accountability across carriers and departments.

Revcon introduced its solutions in stages:

  1. Phase 1 – LTL Shipments: Centralized quoting, tracking, and billing.

  2. Phase 2 – FTL/Bulk: Expanded visibility to full truckload and bulk shipments.

  3. Phase 3 – Audit & Pay: Automated invoice verification and reconciliation.

The phased rollout allowed Sipcam’s team to adjust smoothly, reducing disruption during their busiest shipping seasons.

“Having Revcon’s team behind us made a huge difference. They communicate constantly and always help us find a solution.”

Key Services Introduced

  • Transportation Management System (TMS): Centralized quoting, booking, and tracking for all modes.

  • Freight Audit & Pay: Automated auditing and validation of invoices before payment, ensuring billing accuracy.

  • Lane Analysis & Optimization: Identified cost-effective shipping routes and pre-booked freight to avoid rate volatility.

  • Custom Reporting & Data Integration: Daily automated reports for sales and logistics teams provided real-time insights.

  • EDI Integration (in progress): Full ERP–TMS integration launching in early 2026 to eliminate manual data entry and enhance tracking accuracy.

Change Management & Support

Revcon’s team took a hands-on approach to internal change management. They hosted monthly coordination calls, built custom reports, and offered flexible solutions as Sipcam transitioned from a decentralized to an integrated logistics model.

“Revcon was very understanding of our own broken processes and helped us find solutions to get through them,” said Kathleen, Vice President at Sipcam Agro USA. “They communicated clearly and were always willing to adapt so we could keep freight moving.”

The Results

Since partnering with Revcon Logistics, Sipcam Agro USA has achieved measurable improvements across every aspect of its supply chain. What began as an effort to modernize freight management has evolved into a full operational transformation—streamlining how the company moves, tracks, and audits shipments. With Revcon’s technology and dedicated support, Sipcam has uncovered hidden cost savings, strengthened internal communication, and given its teams the visibility and time to focus on what matters most: their customers.

“Every order used to mean calling carriers and manually booking freight. Now we can handle it all in one place.”

“Having our team spend less time booking freight and more time with customers has been invaluable.”

Operational Efficiency

  • 25% reduction in customer service workload, freeing staff to focus on customers instead of shipment tracking.

  • Real-time visibility through the TMS as users can now view shipment status instantly using a sales order number.

  • Streamlined audit and pay process reduced AP workload and improved accuracy.

Cost Savings

  • Lane optimization across Sipcam’s Saint Joseph, MO and Shubuta, MS facilities reduced miles and freight costs.

  • Revcon’s freight audit and pay process uncovered billing discrepancies and overcharges, delivering measurable savings.

  • Strategic warehouse consolidation cut total locations from 13+ to 7, lowering storage and handling expenses.

  • Revcon’s mode optimization analysis (LTL vs. FTL vs. stop-offs) prevented overspending and improved load efficiency.

Strategic ROI

  • Financial: Ongoing freight audit savings, route optimization, and warehouse consolidation contribute to significant annual cost reduction.

  • Time: Estimated 25% time savings per customer service employee.

  • Customer Experience: Greater visibility has improved communication with clients and enhanced overall satisfaction.

  • Values: Strengthening our customer‑centric focus while further aligning our actions with our core company values.
